How to Register a Mobile
Note: Cell phone, mobile phone, mobile, cell, phone can be used interchangeably in this guide. The only requirement here is that the phone must be able to receive SMS.
- Log into the RegDOX application.
- In the upper left-hand corner, near the log out link, if your profile/name link. Click it.
- This will bring up the Profile and Settings popup. Go to the dropdown list Show me… and click the Phone Numbers section.
- The label Mobile Phone No mobile phone registered should be there. Next to this label is the Add link. Click it.
- The Add or Change Mobile Phone Number popup will appear. A PIN will be sent to you through your previously established channel. Next to the Enter PIN text is the text box to enter the PIN you will receive. Enter it and click the Next button.
- The Add or Change Mobile Phone Number popup will appear. Next to the label Mobile Phone is two text boxes. The text box to the left is the country code. The U.S. country code is 1. When you type one in you will not see the U.S. flag option appear. Canada will appear and Canada shares the same country code as the U.S. You can click on Canada’s country code as an alternative. The text box to the right is for the cell phone. You can use parentheses, periods, hyphens and spaces for formatting. You cannot use letters. Numbers only. Hit the Next button.
- The PIN will be sent to your phone. You can double check that the number by looking at the number next to Send To. Once you receive the PIN on your mobile enter it in the text box with the label Enter PIN next to it. Once done hit the Finish button.
- The popup Set Security Questions? will appear. This guide will not go into security questions. Click the Cancel button.
- You should now see the phone number set in the Phone Numbers section of your Contact Details.
