6 The Internet Explorer mode must be enabled in the settings of Microsoft Edge under "Default Browser"

1.1.  Additional requirements for using RegDOX Secure Data Room with WebDAV Functionality

With WebDAV, that is the “Open in Windows” and “Edit” functions, you can access Data Room folders and files just like you would access files which are saved on your hard drive or in your company’s network.
Please note: The browser that is used for working with RegDOX Secure Data Room must support WebDAV. This is the case fro Microsoft Edge with Internet Explorer mode enabled and for Internet Explorer. Since WebDAV is not a RegDOX component, issues that may arise due to the use of WebDAV should be discussed directly with Microsoft as manufacturer of the browser. The impact of installing Microsoft patches on WebDAV functionality also needs to be verified directly with Microsoft.
The following settings have to be made in Microsoft Edge to be able to use the WebDAV functionality:
>      In the Settings and more menu, select these options: Settings> Default browser> Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode> Allow> Restart.
>      Call up the RegDOX Secure Data Room login page, open the Settings and more menu, select Reload in Internet Explorer mode > Done.
Perform these steps before you log in to RegDOX Secure Data Room. If you are already logged in and then switch to Internet Explorer mode or back to the default mode, you get logged out. When you switch to Internet Explorer mode, you will be offered a choice to open the current page in Internet Explorer mode automatically next time. Also, you can choose to show an icon in the toolbar that allows you to reload pages in Internet Explorer mode. We recommend using these features.
The following settings have to be made in the “Internet options” of the above-mentioned Internet Explorer versions to be able to use the WebDAV functionality:
>       The RegDOX platform has to be added to the “Trusted Sites” (“Security” tab).
>       The “Enable Protected Mode” option has to be disabled for the “Trusted Sites”.
>       Cookies have to be enabled (Privacy setting “Medium”).
>       JavaScript has to be enabled (Security setting “Medium”).
>       Pop-ups have to be enabled for the RegDOX platform.
