How to add a server to the Connector
Note: The Secure Connector for Microsoft Office must first be downloaded onto the users machine. The latest version is on our site here: https://www.regdox.com/downloads-videos/regdox-desktop-tools/
- Open a Microsoft application. In this guide, the images were taken while using Microsoft Word but the icon is in the same place in Excel and PowerPoint. Once established in one application it carries over to the other applications using the Connector.
- Click on the Connector icon on the top left of the page. It’s a green square with a twisting B and has Data Room under the icon.
- A dropdown menu with four options will appear. Click on Settings with the gear icon next to it
- A new window comes up labeled Change Settings, click on Servers tab near the top of this window.
- There should now be three buttons on the right side of the window. The top button and the only not grayed option Add. Click the Add button.
- The smaller window titled Configure Server will appear. In the text box next to the label Server URL delete whatever text is already in there by default and replace it with the URL: https://secure.gov.regdox.net
- Under the Username & Password tab are two text boxes for your username and password in that order. After putting in your RegDOX credentials click the OK button.
